Pork Chop and Roasted Red Pepper Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
Absolutely awesome. The only I changed was that I added the spices of oregano, parsley and basil. Plus I put 2 cups of mushrooms in the sauce. A new favorite of ours!!! Loved it!!!

Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2012
This was delish. I changed and added a few things. I added about 2 teaspoons minced garlic instead of garlic salt. I also added parsley, oregano, red pepper flakes and Italian seasonings. I had some yellow squash which I chopped. I didn't put any celery in. I also used tomato sauce as well as stewed tomatoes. I used smoked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch pieces. We loved it, it is now a favorite.

Barbecued Spareribs

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2012
This was delish except the time frame was way off. It took over an hour longer than stated. However, having cooked ribs I anticipated this. My only dislike. Other than that, delish!!!

Italian Sausage and Peppers with Penne

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2012
Too many vegetables and not enough sauce. Next time I would use 1 pepper and 1 onion. I even added a can of stewed tomatoes and still there was not enough sauce. I added minced fresh garlic which helped.

Garlic Green Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
This did not work out for me. The taste was bland and had to add extra seasonings. I try at least 3-5 recipes a week and this one will not be a repeater.

I loved this easy recipe....I added garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and parmesan cheese, and basil to the Italian bread crumbs. I also used a broiler pan to allow the chicken to get thoroughly crispy. A new favorite!!!

Garlic Creamed Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2012
After reading other reviews, I added a lot more garlic, cooked the chicken in butter for a few minutes, and added white wine. I also added oregano, basil and parsley. I cooked the chicken the first 1/2 hour with foil then the remaining 1/2 hour without. The chicken was moist but the sauce was too thick. I will make this again but add more wine or chicken broth.

I had never cooked beef brisket before and was looking for a simple recipe. I had a dinner party and tripled the recipe along with using Heineken beer. It was the hit of the party with requests to make it again. Very pleased!!!
