we'll i keep myself certainly busy cooking for my husband, he's on a heart diet,, low sodium,low fat. so i have to come up with concoctions that taste like something.. not easy! so i experiment daily.My husband is very limited with what he can eat because he takes coumadin, so i make allot of healthy low fat, low sodiom meals. I watch the ingredients very carefully. So far so good! Happy cooking everyone!

pasta sauces, rice dishes,i like to load my oven up with different things at the same time. turkey meatballs, veggie casseroles,anthing that takes allot of ingredients i'm happy making.I do allot of baking, every other day. Lots of cookies and pound cakes, ginerbread, hermits,greek recipes for desserts. YUM

Surprizingly, I can remember something from 20 or 30 yrs. ago and how it tasted,so I kinda put together what I think was in it and it comes out pretty close, so I go from there, keep making it, til I get it right. Sounds like allot of work to some, but that's the challenge I like, LOL LOL
My cooking tragedies
Had a tragedy today making my favorite MMMMM brownies,I've always tweaked them adding so much more chocolate than called for making them so gooey good. today tho,,,I added nutella and cherry cordial hershey kisses instead of choc. chips,, I also added 1/2 cup more flour to accomodate, anyway after 40 min of baking the brownies were still liquid in the center, how bad is that,the sides are done and center is liquid! So i turned my oven to 300 degrees and just left them in another 15 min.. had too, diden't want to waste all those ingr. so low and behold as soon as I took them out I cut them and put them into tightly covered tupperware,, and that's it! yes,, they are edible,but they harden up real quick... So next time,I may tweak less!
