This is my "go to" chili recipe, i was asked to enter in a chili cook off at work and found this recipe here, won second place, not bad for an unexperienced chili maker. Now I make it every year. I make mine in the crockpot on low for 8 hours just cook and drain the meat and sausage and put everything in the crockpot, I do use 3 14oz cans of the tomatoes that have seasoning already, i like the ones with garlic and cumin on it. I don't add any sugar,worcestshire or tabasco sauce.
I add a chopped serrano pepper and blend 1 chipotle pepper with the tomatoes. By the way I live in Texas and all my Texas friends love this chili.
