Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2006
I've been making some changes and I have received rave reviews when I added minced garlic and shredded cheddar cheese into the cream cheese mixture. *Update For over a year now I HAVE to make these for every get together. They are everyones favorite!

Baked Taco Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
I used breasts and extra taco seasoning. I also took another reviewers suggestion and broiled with butter to make it crispy. The best addition was corn salsa. I used trader joes. I put it on at the end. Delicious!

Blueberry Spice Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2007
very delicious and moist. I did make some changes. I added some lemon peel and vanilla. I also used a 1/2 cup of applesauce in replacement of the butter. I thought they were wonderful but stuck to my muffin cups and mad a mess.

Tiger Butter I

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
Tastes wonderful! I don't know what I did wrong. I used a natural/organic peanut butter. May be that was it. This tasted wonderful but did not look pretty. It was either too hard to cut or too soft and crumbly. I just couldn't get it out of the pan looking edible.

so yummy! I was unsure of this dish at first, but I loved it! I am GF, so I had it on a brown rice tortilla. My husband had it over rice. It was delicious both ways!

Honey Garlic Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
My hubby loved these. He was a little hesitant because he doesn't like real sweet foods. I added a bit more barbeque sauce than requested. I also use country stlye ribs and put them on low in my crock pot for 10 hours. They were so moist and tender.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
Amazing! This was the 1st turkey I have ever made and it turned out great! This was by far the moistest turkey I have ever ate. I did brine it over night like another reviewer suggested and I think that made it a 5 star recipe. You can also vary the herbs a bit. I bought a pack of fresh poultry herbs which included rosemary, sage and thyme.

Chicken with Ginger Sauce

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
I should have listened to my gut. Mayo heated up is rarely good. This stir fry is no exception. This was bland and off tasting.

Delicious Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
delicious! i used ginger powder, and reduced the raisins to 1/3c. I will add a little more next time. I reduced the cayanne to 1/2stp, but it was still over powering. I like spice, but the sweet got covered up a lot.

Pork Patties Oriental

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2007
These were very good. My hubby and I were both skeptical, but were amazed at the wonderful balance of sweetness. We didn't have canned pineapple, only fresh, so there wasn't as much liquid. I will make this again.

Creamy Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
I hate using fresh pumpkin and I vowed to never do it again! When I served this pie to the inlaws they were so impressed. I even heard from my father in-law that this was possibly the best pumpkin pie he has ever had! Now that's a compliment. I shot myself in the foot and have to make this pie from fresh pumpkin every year. I didn't have any nutmeg so i used ground cloves in place of it.

Harvard Beets

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2013
Great recipe! I wasn't sure if I even liked beets when I bought a bunch at the farmer's market...I thought I would give them a try. I do like them when prepared this way! Other beet lovers raved over this. I couldn't get the sauce to thicken up. I even let it boil for a bit and that didn't help. I thought maybe once it cooled it would thicken up, but not so.
