Good basic recipe and quick. I've had much better, but for the ease of the recipe, its very good. The dumplings are MUCH better if you use the Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust (NOT FROZEN- its by the can biscuits) as the dumplings - instead of the bisquits. The bisquits are good, but this crust used for dumplings makes this recipe even better. It's all I use for pies too - you'll thank me if you use frozen pie crust. I did have to add more water at the end. It got pretty sticky. Better the 2nd day too. Thanks for sharing!
