Key Lime Pie VII
Wow! This recipe is so incredibly simple, but so perfect. A friend of mine won a contest with her key lime pie. I got the recipe and made it. It was so complicated, time consuming, and way too sweet. This recipe with it's 4 ingredients topped the other one hands down. I made my own graham cracker crust as suggested. The only modifications I made were out of necessity and not to perfect something that clearly didn't need help. Since we were snowed in, I used the plain yogurt in my fridge instead of the sour cream and regular limes. Husband couldn't stop eating it. When you stumble upon this recipe, don't look any further. Clinton's Special Vegetarian Quiche
I served this quiche to my family for Christmas brunch. Everyone loved it including the picky eaters. I used the filo pastry. I brushed quiche dish with melted butter, then laid down a sheet of filo pastry (folding the edges back into the dish, laid another sheet, brushed with butter. I laid about 6 sheets, each time brushing with butter. I followed Gloria M's instruction and baked at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. I then followed the recipe. It was delicious and I'll surely make it again.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I have made many a chocolate chip cookie and was never convinced that I had the perfect recipe. I've made flat cookies, greasy cookies, dry cookies, and cookies that tasted too much like baking soda. It puzzles me as all of these chocolate chip cookie recipes pretty much have the same ingredients...maybe it was that you dissolve the baking soda in water before adding it? The true test for me is to have one first thing in the morning and it was great! I gave them to friends for Christmas and wasn't worried that they weren't worthy of giving. I added toasted walnuts and that made them even better!! I adjusted the time to 14 minutes which still gave me brown edges and a chewy middle.
