I am married to the most wondreful man, my high school sweetheart. We have been married almost 22yrs. We were not able to have children but have lots of nieces and nephews we spoil and send back to their parents. I do have fur babies, 4 cats and 2 dogs. I love cooking. grilling, boiling, broiling, steaming, stir frying, but most of all baking. I absolutely have a sweet tooth. I love creaating new things and adding my own touch to recipes. Nothing like a fabulous piece of chocolate cake!!!! Making cookies during the holidays has to be my favorite family cooking tradition. My moher and I used to do that every year and hand them out to family and friends. Cooking triumphs is making too many sweets and not having enough people to hand them off to. I'd hate to waste the cupcakes so I'll eat them. Hate when I cook good, LOL!1 I've had plenty of tragedies,lol. All the times I've tried adding my own flair and it turned out extremly wrong. However, when I was first learning to bake I decided I was going to make surprise cookies for my mom. Instead of adding 1/4 tsp baking soda I added 1/4 cup. Needless to say no one ate them, not even the dog. LOL
