California Chicken Spaghetti

I loved this recipe, I changed a few things but only because I did not have the other ingredients on hand. I used spagettini instead of angel hair, and a few red pepper flakes instead of blackened seasoning and diced canned tomatoes the feta cheese adds a wonderful flavour. This is definately going to be a regular at our house.

Candied Chicken Breasts

I love this recipe with a few changes, I did not bread the chicken just started it in the pan, then I added some yellow and red peppers and a can of pineapple chuncks. Baked in the oven and yummo.

Festive Tossed Salad

Have made this for a dinner party and everyone raved about it, only changes I made were instead of whole, sliced tomato I used cherry tomato and I also added some slivered almonds and it added a wonderful flavour and crunch. Now everyone asks for this salad at our sunday family dinners.

Apple Crisp III

Made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I used grannysmith apples and cut the sugar in half as I prefer the apples a little on the tart side. Delicious.

Three Cheese Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

These were very tasty indeed, the only change I made was to use half one percent milk and half sour cream to cut back a bit on fat. Made them for Thanksgiving and everyone enjoyed them.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

German Apple Cake I

Very nice cake. I followed some of the previous suggestions and used 1/4 cup oil and 3/4 cup applesauce added nutmeg and extra cinnamon ( I love these spices) and an extra cup of apples. Baked it in a bunt pan and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar when cooked. Took this to a gathering and it was gone before any of the other desserts,I guess that says it all.

Simple Turkey Chili

This was very good , the only changes I made was to add a can of regular beans and I left out the cayenne pepper and it still had enough heat for my husband and I, you would never think it was ground turkey without being told.

Charleston Breakfast Casserole
