Jicama Mango Salad with Cilantro and Lime

Actually, no, it doesn't take that long, and I do it by hand... I guess it just depends on how efficient you are in the kitchen :) They don't have to be perfect matchsticks! I think the general concensus around here is not to rate things you haven't actually made, but thanks for the feedback.

Smooth Poblano Salsa

As it is ok. I left out the lettuce and Serrano, roasted the jalapenos,THREE poblanos, and a bit of onion and it was fantastic. I would have preferred serranos to jalapenos but not everyone in the family can handle that much heat :)

No Bake Cookies V

Really good! I did use butter instead of margarine, only a cup and a half of sugar, coconut milk instead of cow's, almost double the cocoa powder, and almond butter instead of peanut. They were still awesome, as are all no-bakes in my opinion. Yum yum!

Country Fried Squash

Ok....in theory this should be delicious-but there are a few issues. Since butternut squash is such a firm squash it should be noted that your slices shouldn't be any thicker than 1/4 inch. Also, this really is a bland recipe. More salt, more pepper, more garlic, and herbs are what I added. And, for us anyway, because our slices were thin and we got more, we needed about double the breading per weight. Other than that I am glad that I can across this recipe because it was a great new way to enjoy butternut, and a healthier way to enjoy something fried :P

Chocolate Lover's Hot Chocolate

We made this this morning and it was delicious! We are a refined sugar-free family so we love finding recipes like this one. We did not uae brown sugar but a full teaspoon of both syrup and honey. We also used cream in the second addition of milk. yum yum.

Ground Beef and Cabbage

Ok, I messed with the recipe a bit but this was AWESOME! We were not expecting such deliciousness from such a simple dish. I had two italian sausages along with the ground beef so I threw those in and halved the amount of Italian seasoning. I only had half a jar of tomato sauce so I filled it almost all the rest of the way up with water, poured it all in and added two diced fresh tomatoes. I also added fresh garlic and garlic powder, and a splash of red wine. SO GOOD!

Super good! I followed your instructions with another reviewer's measurments (200 g almonds, 3 egg whites, 165 g sugar) and they turned out beautiful and delicious. Everyone wants me to make more.

Kale and Chard Supreme

I would give this a five if the pineapple weren't in there. We made it just as the recipe states, except for the pineapple and it was awesome. I'm sure it is delicious with it as well, but our personal preference is without. It just didn't seem that the flavors would blend well with the cheese, cranberry, and almonds...
