Butter Pound Cake

Made this recipe last night. I followed it exactly. I used to loaf pans and they came out moist. I did bake it only an hour and 20 minutes. It's dense but moist and buttery. Perfect. I've made many a pound cake and this is the best one. My husband loved it and so did my entire painting class.

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

Just made this. It's beyond great. It's also so healthy. I followed the recipe exactly but next time I would put less barley or add more stock so it's thinner but it's an easy recipe to make. Just put everything in and let it simmer.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Made this the night before Thanksgiving and kept the topping separate until I baked it after the turkey came out of the oven. It was amazing. I loved it and so did all my guests.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Made this twice now. The second time was on Thanksgiving. Made it two days before and on the morning of Thanksgiving put it in my crock pot and put it on low and served it. Delicious and everyone loved it. Such a big help to be able to make it ahead. Thanks.

Quick Yeast Rolls

Just made this. Delicious and perfect. I used butter but otherwise followed the recipe. Let it rise 45 min. the first time, 30 mins. the second time and brushed it with butter after scooping dough/batter into tins. I notice the one's I baked in tin pans were fluffier than the ones I baked in thicker dark pans but have no idea why. Thank you for the recipe.
