Eclairs II

Great dessert! My only tweak is that I take a plastic drink mixer or any small rod, and pierce one end and "root around" to make space to pipe in the pudding.

Chocolate Caramel Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
My daughter gave me the recipe and asked me to make them. I should have read the reviews about not using a glass pan and possibly baking the bottom layer a bit longer. After 20+ minutes of baking it was soft and all puffed up in the middle and crusty edges. Number one rule of a chocoholic is to never throw chocolate out so we served it up and it was delicious. Kind of like a chocolate pudding/molten lava cake with carmel..yum!!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
Since I've retired, I have been trying more homemade recipes. I have tried other recipes tor the pretzels and these are the best by far. I think using the brown sugar and using the bread flour makes this recipe unique. I did take some suggestions from other posts and boiled them and also used Pam on a cookie sheet instead of parchment paper. Either way..they are the best and my search ends here and another batch is in the works...

BAKER'S® ONE BOWL Midnight Bliss Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2013
I bake this cake several times a year because I'm a chocoholic and love this cake. For our family holiday Christmas party, I make a vanilla glaze and then roll out spearmint leaves candy with an oiled rolling pin and cut out holly leaves for the top and get red mini M&Ms for the berries. No leftovers have come home.

Better than Grandma's Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2012
Occasionally I have been searching for the brownie recipe that was the one my mother used and taught me. Unfortunately when she passed away, the recipe was thrown out by mistake. I did remember that it was more than the "one bowl" recipe and everything about this one sounded right,so I tried it. This was it or close enough. They are just as I remembered...fantastic! Thank you Julie!!!
