We don't like the roasted red peppers on it but it does need something on it, like banana peppers, pepperoncinis or something to change up the flavor a little bit...but this is a favorite everytime I make it!

Chicken Cheese Chowder

I made this last night....all three of my kids loved....I added corn to the veggie mix and a little more flour, maybe a tablespoon or two and used 1/2 cup of butter in the mix. It was a very filling and great tasting soup!

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

This was absolutely terrific, although I needed to roast the three pound tenderloin for almost twice as long as stated. Well worth the effort of this meal.....my guests LOVED it for Christmas Eve.

Cheese Fondue

We just made this for an appetizer/meal tonight. It was very good although next time I think I will use about 2/3 cup of wine next time.....it was a little overpowering for us but a very good recipe.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

These were very bland except for the lime flavor that the juice gave them....was wanting something with a few more flavors in it....we will try them again though and vary the recipe a little bit.

Easy Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

This is a very good recipe....I used the chocolate pudding (will try vanilla next time) and milk choc chips but I do not think it resembles a traditional pound cake though. It made two large loaves as I baked it for over an hour in 2 loaf pans. I will make it again, it was very good but I am still looking for a good traditional pound cake recipe. :)

Aunt Phyllis' Magnificent Cheese Ball

I used this as a spread (minus the nuts) and it really did not have the great flavor I was expecting. I am thinking I may add a little something next time to "spice it up" but am not sure what.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

A very good and easy recipe. I did do step 3 and you need to let the soup boil again to thicken it up a little bit from the cornstarch. It is very flavorful!!!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Never have any of these leftover. I actually use a pound of smoked sausage that I cut into about 1/2 inch thick discs, wrap those in a half piece of bacon each, cover with brown sugar in a 9 x 13 baking dish and bake for an hour at 350. Always a HUGE hit. :)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I have been making this recipe forever and it is wonderful!!! When I first started making it I sprayed the inside of 3-1 pound coffee cans with cooking spray and filled the cans about 3/4 of the way with the batter and they baked VERY nicely upright in the cans. :) This is such a moist recipe and we always have a few loaves made in the fall and winter.

Chicken Enchilada Dip

This is a GREAT recipe. I made this doubling the recipe except for the shredded cheese (used about 12 oz.) and mayo amount-16 oz. of mayo seemed like a lot for a dip. I also added 1 can of rotel tomatoes and chiles to it as well. It was soooo good with tortilla chips. Will make again!!!!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

This soup is FANTASTIC!!!! We made it tonight, I did not add any water to it and also added about 1/2 cup of uncooked orzo with the tortellini. No carrots though. I used dry herbs and a can of diced tomatoes as well and it tasted REALLY great!!! We will try and always have some of this in the freezer from now on. Thanks!!!

Strawberry Jam

I have made strawberry jam before and this recipe did not gel at all. It has a GREAT flavor but I should have added a package of pectin to the jam. I will try this same recipe again with the pectin, I am sure it will be great.

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

I am giving this four stars only because it was incredibly salty. Next time I will not be adding ANY salt to it...the broth and cheese are plenty salty for this recipe. I will be making it again though...it is a nice starter to a meal. :)

Dip For The Stars

Made this with vodka as well. It was a GREAT appetizer. It got rave reviews (I was starting to get embarrassed by the amount of compliments!!!) at a recent party I took it to and it looks so fabulous on a platter surrounded by crackers and toasties to spread it on. I will definately make this again.

YUMMY!!! I made this last week and it was GREAT! I used angel hair pasta though. The sauce was terrific and I thickened it with corn starch too. Will definately make this again. Thanks!!!

Salmon Chowder

This is a very easy soup recipe. I made some this fall and froze some for Christmas time and it reheated GREAT! It was a terrific hit and I will be making it again this spring for Lent! Thanks for a good recipe. :)
