World's Best Lasagna
I haven't had a lot of luck with lasagna. I have attempted several recipes but finally I found a recipe I could work with. A couple of adjustments. I used more cheese - 3/4 cup was not enough for my family. I used 2 cups of mozzarella and 1 1/2 cups of parmesan cheese. I will make this again and add another 8 oz of ricotta because we just like more cheese. I did follow the other reviewers recommendations with soaking the noodles and it worked great. In fact, my children really like how the noodles turned out and they were too soggy. I did baked the lasagna a bit longer - for about 35 minutes covered and then 20 minutes. It just wasn't cooked enough at 20 minutes. My family loved this recipe and I am so pleased!

Cocktail Meatballs
I also prepared these meatballs for the first time for a party but made sure to read the reviews first. I didn't have a lot of time so I used frozen HOMESTYLE meatballs (you need to watch out for the packaging). I combined a bit of cranberry sauce and ligonberry jelly because I didn't want to open another can ( was doubling the recipe). I also used Thai Sweet Chili Sauce and it was amazing. Big hit! They were very easy and very tasty. My step son said they were "amazing" and for him to compliment my cooking...yeah...I'll take it!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies
Tried this recipe for the first time for a party with friends and it was a big hit. I read several reviews to get some ideas and I used center cut bacon and used it cold as recommended. I used smoked cocktail wieners. I cut the bacon in half and it worked out perfectly in numbers with the package (the bacon was 12 oz and the wieners were 12 oz as well). Also one of the recommendations was to use heavy duty aluminum foil - completely agree because it does help with the clean up. I will admit when it was time to put brown sugar on the wieners, I was afraid because it seemed like a lot but I followed the recipe. I did double this recipe. I baked it for 40 minutes at 325 but then baked it for another 15 minutes at 350 and it was PERFECT. Placed them in a crockpot and they were a hit with everyone!!! Thank you!!!
