Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2015
This was really yummy however it reminded me more of a tiramisu just with less cake texture. I tried to healthify this, if you will, and used So Delicious whipped light coconut topping (lactose intolerant here), original almond milk light, 2 1oz packets of sugar free white chocolate, 1 1oz sugar free cheesecake and 1 3.5oz vanilla (I got a little creative with what I had on hand). I brought it in to my co-workers and they devoured it in one day, mind you we only have 5 of us in our office! I also took the advice from another user with the chocolate frosting and made it myself with the coco powder, butter, etc. I'm quite sure the original recipe is fabulous if It still tasted great with my revisions!

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
This was awesome and super easy. I followed the directions to a T and I also used the cream cheese frosting II from this website. I used two round cake pans and baked per the instructions and they turned out perfect. I will definitely make this again!

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2012
This recipe was so tasty and super easy to make. Instead of cake, I turned mine into cupcakes. I popped them in the oven for 20 minutes and they were perfect. Like other reviewers I used the cream cheese frosting II recipe by Janni, which can be found on allrecipes. I will definitely be making this again, everyone enjoyed!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
This was so good, I mean really really good! I have never ate chicken cordon bleu let alone cooked it so I was a bit intimidated when I read over this recipe. This turned out fantastic and it looked just as fancy as it sounds and believe it or not it was not that hard to put together. I took the advice of other reviewers and baked it in the oven after browning the chicken on the stove. I used Hillshire farm ham and the grocery store brand swiss cheese and it STILL tasted pretty darn good. Next time I will try more quality ingredients.

"Pantry Raid" Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
Oh man this was soooo good and oh so easy to make. I have a few picky eaters in my family so they were weary about the corn bread mix on the top but when I went for leftovers the next day it was all gone! Instead of the classic corn bread I used chi chi's sweet corn cake and it was awesome! I'm definitley saving this recipe to my box!

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
I just made this recipe AGAIN last night and now i'm eating lefotevers for lunch. This reminds me of the sausages I used to get at our county fair, mmmmm so good! Like other reviewers, I too added a red pepper and browned up the sausage before sticking it in the crock pot. Great recipe, thanks for sharing!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
My wings turned out perfect thanks to this recipe. I used the whole chicken wings instead of the wingettes but they were still great. I used Frank's hot sauce and I tell you what, these were better than any wing i've tried in a restarant. I will be using this recipe for as long as I cook!

Italian Bread Bowls

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
Bread can be tricky to make but if you follow the instuctions you shouldn't have any problems. This recipe was very helpful and it turned out great. I followed another reviewers tip and let the bread rise in the oven with a pot of boiling water, that worked like a charm. If you have a kitchenaid stand mixer this recipe is a breeze. The bread turned out great and made perfect bowls! I will definitley be using this as my go to bread bowl recipe.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
Wow, this bread was amazing! I thought it was quite odd adding the sour cream but boy was I wrong, it turned out great. I had 8 x 4 loaf pans so I managed to fill up three. The instructions do not inlcude how much to fill the pans so for a first time baker this can be confusing. I filled them up about 3/4 of the way and they turned out perfect, however if you try to bake them all at the same time plan on adding about 15-20 minutes more. I actually baked them all together for an hour and they were not done so I stuck them in one at a time for 5 minutes more and then did the trick. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
This chili was simple and amazing. I added a dash of chili powder, cayenne and paprika but I still think it would of been delicious without it. The best compliment I got was that it was better then Wendy's and just as good as my grandmothers. I will definitley be making this over and over again. Thanks for the great recipe!
