Chai Tea Mix

Rave reviews from family members who received it as gifts. I definitely used the recommended white pepper and nutmeg. Very good, fun recipe that can be adapted to individual tastes.

Orange Almond Biscotti II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2004
We made these in several combinations: orange/almond, lemon/poppyseed-white choc drizzle, spice-choc drizzle, cranberry/almond-white choc drizzle. A huge Christmas basket favorite. We packed in cellophane gift bags and tied with ribbon.

We made these for our holiday gift baskets. We did not use anise at all, but made 3 varieties that are getting rave reviews from the basket recipients. -christmas spice (mentioned in another review) drizzled with chocolate -orange cranberry -lemon poppy seed with one end dipped in white chocolate!! All were fabulous!!

Christmas Turtle Candies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2004
Fun and tasty recipe. We used it for our holiday gift baskets. We made the last batch into "flowers" instead of turtles due to losing turtle legs and heads - we had a turtle repair hospital! We slightly softened the caramel in the oven and then poked 3 whole toasted almonds in the top at an angle. Then we drizzled the chocolate over them. They were more visually appealing than the turtle.

Good Dog Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2004
These are great. We used different sizes of dog bone shaped cookie cutters and put them in our gift baskets this year. We got a "two paws up" from friends and family. My cousin said her dog is spitting out his store bought biscuits after his good dog cookie supply ran out!!
