Lemon Chewy Crisps

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2004
These were great, I added 3 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice to the dough and dipped the balls in juice then sugar to enhance the lemon flavor. I also dusted with powerdered sugar to make it more like a lemon bar cookie.

White Chocolate Cheesecake with White Chocolate Brandy Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
oh this was soooo rich and delicious! I doubled the amount of white chocolate in the cake and did make an Oreo crust (although it didn't need it). I did not make the sauce because I wanted it to stay family friendly. Additionally I ended up having to freeze the cake and it was still perfect after it had thawed out. Thanks for the great recipe!

Butter Brickle Frozen Delight

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
Super but as everyone says very sweet and rich. Next time I might eliminate the carmel and add another block of cream cheese. I made it in a 9x13 pan and it came out fine.

Fudge Truffle Cheesecake

Wonderful. I used a chocolate grahm cracker crust and I added a layer of fresh raspberries in the middle. I topped it with raspberry sauce and white chocolate shavings. Beautiful.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2005
Wonderful fall soup. Tastes like you spent hours on it. I only used 1pkg of the cream cheese and used chicken broth instead of bullion. I also added ginger and put toasted crushed walnuts on top.

Cream Cheese Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
Found this using the ingredient search, I was tired of the same old chicken breast recipes. This was very good and easy. I omitted the mustard and sugar and added chopped spinach to the cream cheese/mushroom mixture. I added shreddded monterey cheese to the top of the chicken for the last 5 minutes of cooking. Thanks!

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2005
MY husband loved these cookies. I added a 1/2tsp of coconut extract because I really like to enhance the flavor. This cookie would also be good with crushed macadaians and white choco chips. Easy and most of the ingredients are always on hand.

Cream Puffs

These were picture perfect. My husbands favorite. I used white chocolate pudding but next time I would like to find more of a whipped cream style filling. Overall an excellent recipe. Thanks

Chicken In Sour Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
I thought this was super! I used boneless chicken thighs and skipped the browning step. I sprinkled old bay seasoning over the chicken and that really added to the flavor. I followed other reviewers advice and only used 1/2 the onion mix and still thought it was a little strong. Maybe next time I will try Knorrs veggie mix instead. Still a great easy dinner.

Very Good. I used extra cheese, sausage crumbles with some red pepper flaked thrown in to give it some heat. My husband loved this and the sour cream layer is wonderful.

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
This was excellent. I have made it in the oven as well as in the slow cooker and both turn out good if done correctly. Since I needed the oven for my soda bread I made it in the slow cooker. I also used 2 beers to cover more of the beef. I used some of the leftover beer to reduce down and made Guiness glazed carrots. Awsome meal!

Diane's Colcannon

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
Oh my goodness this was the best! I made this to go with my Guiness corned beef and soda bread. So flavorful. At first I was a littl wary of all that bacon grease going into the potatoes but man it was totally worth it.

Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookie Logs

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
Wonderful!! I love this recipe not only because it is good as is but you can vary the ingredents to get different tastes. I tried toffee bits in place of the chocolate chips yum yum! I think I must have made these way big though because I only got a little over 2 dozen from the amounts listed.

Sour Cream Lemon Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
Wonderful. I had to cook the sugar/milk/flour for a looong time to get it to thicken and bubble but it was so worth it. My mom who doesnt even like lemon went back for thirds.

This was super good. The thicking step took about 12 minutes. I liked that it was custard-esque without having eggs in it (my son's allergic to eggs). Great recipe. Thanks

Turtle Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 18, 2005
Great! I used shortbread cookies for the crust and decorated the top with crushed pecans, chocolate and carmel drizzles and a chocolate turtle on each piece. I donated it for a bake auction funraiser and it made over $30!

Tres Leches Cake

Awesome! I used 2 9'' pans and put a layer of fresh strawberries in the middle with some of the whipped cream. I also used all of the milk I just kept adding more to the cakes as they absorbed it. I also sliced off the top crust for eiser absorbtion. Soooo Good!!
