Buttermilk Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
Excellent. Dense and moist. Kept well also. I made a lemon butter glaze and drizzled over it. this would also be great for strawberry shortcake.

Zucchini Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2007
This was good. I added some Italian spices and used green pepper instead of red (the red aren't ripe yet in my garden). I also halved the recipe since it was just me and my husband.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

eh not so great. The actual zucchini brownies recipe on this site is way better for combining chocolate and zucchini.

Zucchini Puffs

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
These were just ok. Really really greasy. I added a hot pepper and still found them to be a little bland. I don't think I will be making them again.

Zucchini Pie I

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
This was very good. I baked it for 1 hr and 10 minutes. There was enough filling for 2 pies. I don't know how you would fit this all in 1 9'' pie crust. Also I only had 1 1/2c of condensed milk so I used 1/2 c of whole milk and didn't notice a differerence. Thanks for another good zucchini recipe.

Blueberry Crisp II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
This was so wonderful. When I first made the topping however I didn't get crumbles, I got oooey-gooey paste that was kind of gross. I started over and for the second batch of topping I used my Kitchenaid mixer and ta-da perfect crumbly topping. Excellent. I will have to try with raspberries since I have an abundance of them.

Sour Cream Lemon Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
Wonderful. I had to cook the sugar/milk/flour for a looong time to get it to thicken and bubble but it was so worth it. My mom who doesnt even like lemon went back for thirds.

Brown Sugar Pie II

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
Not as great as I had hoped after reading all the great reviews. It did not set and needed almost an additional 20 minutes of bake time. Then it just kind of sank in the middle. Taste was ok, but not worth it to make again.

good, I omitted the jelly, increased the PB to 1/2 cup, added chopped up peanut butter cups and a layer of fudge to the bottom and the top.

Creamy Candy Bar Dessert

Reviewed: May 14, 2007
I followed this exactly and it never set up in the fridge. I had to freeze it to get the pudding and whipped topping firm but that meant the snicker pieces were frozen so they were like rocks.

Thia is our go-to recipe for showers and functions. Its great, I do use less mayo than suggested and I use celery salt instead of regular.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
Perfect, had to give out several copies of the recipe. I added a layer of guacamole and made sure I drained the salsa and added the taco mix to the sour cream instead of the beans. This his the spot and is impressive to take to a party.

Avocado Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
This was too tart. We like key lime pie but this was not a good kind of tart. I made it as written and it was lip puckering tart. I couldn't taste the avacado at all. All I tasted was sour. If I was to make again I would definetly cut down the lemon and increase the sweetner. Not sure it is worth the $$ for good avacados.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
These were good but definetly don't bake 12-15, mine were done after 8 minutes. I wish they were a little more moist, next time I will make the cookies larger and see if that helps.
