FANTASTIC!!!! I left out the coffee, but the chocolate dip was delicious. We reheated it and had it the next night, too and it was just as wonderful!

Basic Fondue

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
I followed recommedations to substitute beer for milk. Since I did that, I would rate this a 5/5! It was unbelievable! I will definitely make it again, but highly recommend the beer. I took the beer and added enough milk to make 2 cups of liquid.

This was indeed fast and easy, but I would prefer to eat something else. I won't make this again.

Buttery Cooked Carrots

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
Simply delicious! I increased this to 16 servings and took to a holiday party. I was told to always offer to bring the carrots! I did follow other recommendations to drain off all the water.

Great Pumpkin Dessert

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
THis was really yummy...we ate the whole thing!!! I couldn't find Pumpkin Pie Spice, so I just followed the directions for the spices on the can of Libby's pumpkin. I also substituted Splenda for sugar and followed other recommedations to use 1 cup of melted butter.

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2004
This was wonderful and so easy to make, my 6 year old helped. I would normally substitute Splenda for sugar, but was low on Splenda, so went half and half with the sugar. Used 1% milk and thought it turned out great!

This was a very tasty dish that was easy to prepare. We had it with black beans and yellow rice. Even my picky 6 year old ate it up!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2003
I had an all day workshop at a community center and needed to serve lunch. I chose this recipe because of the high ratings and was not disappointed! Everyone loved it! I used some of the ideas from others, using 2 packages of broccoli, 1 pint of half and half, 8 oz of velvetta and 8 oz of shredded cheddar cheese. I mixed it up the night before, refrigerated it and put it in the crock pot the next morning. I started in on high, and reduced to medium, stirring occassionally. It was ready in time for lunch and a perfect consistancy. I served it with quiche and breadsticks. I highly recommend this soup!
