Chef John's BLT Pasta
I make a variation of this. Buy a bagged salad, put it in a bowl and chop with scissors. If iceberg lettuce is cheaper you can use that instead. I the add leftover chicken, cooked chopped bacon, corkscrew or radiatore pasta (use a pasta with substance) mayo, frozen peas, and dill weed to taste. You can add shredded cheese, crumbled blue cheese or feta, get creative. This is always a hit and makes a quick meal.

Dump Cake I
Maybe I over mixed the cake mix with the fruit although it did look like what the video showed, but I think something went wrong. I definitely would NOT call this a cake. No way could this be cut to put on a plate, more like "eat it with a spoon out of a bowl". The flavor was good, but didn't care for the consistency, and it looked nothing like the finished product in the video. Disappointed and won't do a repeat.

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Just baked these, they only took 10 minutes. Definitely cake-like. I used 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp. banana, next time I would use all banana. My bananas (3 medium) were not completely brown, but covered in brown "freckles" and very soft. Still not much banana flavor. Also, you need to really make the bananas into mush, if there are any chunks they will burn. I got about 65 cookies.
