Grilled Chicken Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2012
I loved this recipe. Followed exactly, except I did roll in bread crumbs before flattening. This helped hold a very wet mixture together and made it easier to mold into the burger shape. Easy to make--could definitely alter to fit what you have in the fridge. And my family from Da Man to the 9 year old loved it. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Excellent recipe. I did not have any ginger or seasoning salt on hand, so I substituted 2 tsp of Chinese Five Spice. I served these at my mom's retirement party and they were gone in 45 minutes (over 175 meatballs!). This dish is a great addition to any potluck or family get together!

Amazing Crab Shells

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2004
I made a few changes and received rave reviews from the people my husband works with in Rockford, IL. I used 2 cans of crab meat (located by the tuna in your local grocery) and 1 can of lump crab meat. I used cream cheese instead of the other... i didnt stuff the shells--it was served with crackers as a cold dip. Awesome.. none left

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2004
if you see a recipe that was submitted by Beth Sigworth, you can bet its worth trying. I have YET to try a recipe by her that wasn't 5 star. This recipe is exactly as she describes it... chewy and spicy... and little crisp on the outside. Thanks Beth for another winner!

Blue Ribbon Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2004
A wonderful crisp/chewey cookie.. great for gift packages--but because of the texture, these cookies do not make good cut outs. Sprinkle with holiday sugar instead...NEW COOKS keep in mind--NEVER REPLACE BUTTER WITH MARGARINE>>> it changes the entire cookie.

I also tweeked the recipe, and the result was 12**!! Here's my recipe: 4# wings, 1/2 c light corn syrup, 1 c soy, 1/2 c white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 c honey , 1/2 c white wine, 1 T cayenne pepper, 2 t fresh grated ginger, 2 t dry mustard. Combine all ingredients and pour over chicken in baking pan. Cook at 400 for 45 min, stirring often. If very thin, mix 2T corn starch w/2T water, and add to chicken. Reduce heat to 300 and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours (until thick and sticky) Serve over rice and with wet wipes. (ill be submitting my recipe now)

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2004
I love this recipe! We actually use it as a main course, because it is so filling. I have to double the amount. I'm going to try adding a bit of cream cheese as suggested this time, along with a few spices. Easy for the beginnner.

I made this recipe a 5 * by using the enchilada sauce from this website under Crisco Chicken Enchiladas and adding the green chilis. Excellent.

CRISCO® Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2004
I think the enchilada sauce from this recipe is awesome, but would definitely use it on the Chicken Enchilada I recipe. The sauce needs to be tripled, and this requires a little effort, but the end result is well worth it. I would definitely add the green chiles though.
