My favorite things to cook
I love Asian and Italian foods! I have a few dishes that are my absolute favorite: potato casserole, and I'm still working on perfecting my teriyaki sauce.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We always had dinner together every night. On saturday my mom would always make pizza, and we were able to sit and watch a movie while eating it. Sunday morning my dad would make pancakes. For each holiday he would make special pancakes: cakes shaped like bunnies, snowmen, or he would even spell out "Happy Birthday"!
My cooking triumphs
Tweeking and perfecting my potato casserole! Whenever we have get-togethers, or potlucks everyone always asks if I could make potato casserole. In high school I also made a 3 course meal for 8 friends without any disasters.
My cooking tragedies
In college we had leftover polenta. I thought I would be creative and make polenta cakes out of them. So I mixed spices, onions, cheese, whatever sounded good. They ended up burning in the pan, and tasting horrible!

Simple Turkey Chili
This is so good, and so simple!! I added an extra can of kidney beans and left them unmashed. Yum! I highly recommend!

Una's Cheddar Beer Bread (bread machine dough cycle)
Really Yummy! However, I seem to have some trouble due to me living at high elevation. Any suggestions on how to accomodate? Very good though! I will pass on the recipe to my mother.

Gorgonzola Sauce
I made this sauce to put over pasta, and it was quite delicious!! Instead of nutmeg, I added some pesto, and it gave it more of an Italian flavor. Very good!
