About this Cook
I'm a 25 year old young lady trying to learn how to feed my boyfriend and myself in our cute apartment.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pasta! I'm a carb-a-holic:)... I also enjoy cooking with my slow cooker. We're trying to eat healthier so I also cook with a lot of lean meat!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mom is still the best cook I know! She is never afraid to try new things!!! Growing up it was either eat what is for dinner or don't eat... this lesson had me trying different types of dishes at a young age and has helped me appreciate food.
My cooking triumphs
I made a successful 2 layered birthday cake recently and I was pretty excited about that!!! I've done some great things in the slow cooker and have learned about cooking fish!
My cooking tragedies
I once caught my microwave on fire trying to melt chocolate, then I turned around and caught a pan on fire trying to re-melt the chocolate that caught the microwave on fire!!!! I also made pancakes once and the outside was done... but the inside was runny :(

Cranberry Pie I
I made this for Thanksgiving this year and it was wonderful!!! I left out the rasins but didn't add any other fruit as a substitute. My family thought it was wonderful and the whole pie was eaten! Very easy to make as well, I'll make it again next year!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles
Very easy recipe and as others said very easy to build on! I added two cups of chicken broth to the 6 cups of water... also added basil, parsley, and carrots but left out the onion (just because we didn't have one). Also used whole wheat egg noodles! We'll see how it turns out! :)
