Wow, I had a horrible experience with this. Against my better judgement, I didn't do the recipe as written, but instead did as several reviewers suggested about cutting the butter in half. I have a feeling I needed that extra butter... The caramel turned out to be a sticky mess and there was not nearly enough for 3 bags of pop corn. And what's up with not telling us what temp the caramel mixture should get to? How are you supposed to knnow if it's ready or not??? Next time, I think I will do exactly what the recipe calls for and then decide for myself if changes need to be made. I think sometimes people mess with you on these comments...
