Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2014
This marinade is very good, but I cut the butter out, and added about 1 TBSP of olive oil. I grilled the chicken instead of cooking it in the oven. It's a great compliment to Spicy English Seven-Layer Salad http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Spicy-English-Seven-Layer-Salad/Detail.aspx?soid=recs_recipe_seed.

Spicy English Seven-Layer Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2014
This salad is amazing! I added about 1 tsp extra of brown sugar to the dressing just because I didn't think it was quite sweet enough. I also put in some scallions, and cauliflower and next time i would add hard boiled eggs and grape tomatoes.

Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2012
This is my favorite soup right now! I just love it! Sometimes when I make it, I add about 1 lb of ground meat, which is fabulous for us non-vegetarians. Also this last time I made it, besides the ground beef, I added about 3 cups of chopped kale. It was wonderful! The kale not only added to the flavor, texture and nutrition, but make it look nice too. I only puree some of the veggies to make the broth thick, but didn't puree any of the kale.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
By far the best cookies I've ever had! Everyone loves them!! The only thing I do differently is that I cut the white sugar back by about 2 Tbsps and I use dark chocolate chips. Also, I think the brand of pudding really matters. I use Royal and it works well, but a friend made them with a different type and we could really taste the pudding.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
Amazing! We increased the servings to 40 and sold this soup as a fundraiser. Everyone loved it and has been asking for the recipe. We did change a few things. We omitted the beer, used chicken legs, thighs and breasts, and cooked the chicken first then used that broth as a base. Also we did it on the stove so it only took about and hour to cook.

Ashley's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
This recipe is perfect! I am in Mexico City, and I was trying to make cookies with many obstacles. I followed this recipe the best could, considering I don't have measuring cups or spoons, and I'm dealing with baking at an altitude of around 7200 ft. My cookies were amazing! The only change I made was using semi-sweet chips, instead of milk chocolate.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
This was amazing. My friends were wowed by it. My only issue was that I thought it was a bit bland, but that may have been because I used low sodium beef broth. So, I seasoned it up a bit more and it was a smash hit! Also, I didn't add the potatoes. I cooked wide egg noodles separately and added them at the last minute instead.

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2006
This was a huge hit when I made it for a housewarming. It may have been because I used a Thai chili sauce, but the meatballs were VERY spicy, too spicy really. My friends and I normally like spicy food, but I definitely should have cut back on the chili sauce next time.

Calypso Rice and Beans

It was good, but bland, and the recipe calls for too much water.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2005
This recipe is amazing, everyone loves it! I've made it with and without the roasted garlic, definitely better with. I also bake it and transfer it into a crock pot to keep it warm. Some time I want to try making it in the crock pot and not baking it at all.
