This is a great appetizer recipe. I've mainly used this as a filling for the mini phyllo tarts, but recently I wasn't able to get the tarts so I baked it in a pie plate and served it as a hot dip/spread with melba toast rounds. Great this way, too! I use crushed red pepper instead of hot sauce to spice it up a bit and usually use fresh shrimp instead of canned. This is always a hit at parties, and many people have asked for the recipe. Thanks,Mary Beth.
