What a fresh tasting salad/dip that is both attractive and healthy. I used three small roma tomatoes, a big bunch of cilantro, less oil and more lime and honey. I will definitely be making this again!

Sherry Apple Pork Chops

This one is a KEEPER! I agree with those who said to add cornstarch to the sherry to thicken up the liquid to yield more of a sauce. I will make this again, maybe using chicken.

Apple Crisp II

This recipe was quick and easy and tasted wonderful! I did not use the water and cut the white sugar in half. I did not double the topping but someone mentioned doing so and putting one layer on bottom and one on top. If you like lots of the crisp that would work. I would also cut the slices in thirds next time. Definitely a "make again" recipe!

Deviled Eggs

Salisbury Steak

This was SOOO yummy but like everyone else, the second time around I tweaked it. I bought TWO cans of French onion soup and TWO cans of brown gravy. I used 1/3 of the French onion soup in the patties and the rest into the gravy. The recipe does not make nearly enough gravy. Also, I didn't care for the taste of the ketchup so I substituted tomato sauce which tasted better to me.

Kentucky Bourbon Sweet Potatoes

This was a GREAT recipe! I gave it 4 stars because I feel altering it would make it PERFECT. Next I plan to use half white and half brown sugar (or maybe all brown) and about half the bourbon (it was not too strong but overwhelming). Otherwise, a GREAT recipe. Plan to make it again, thanks!

Peanut Butter Bars I

These peanut butter bars are nice for something different. I will follow Lisa H's suggestion and add about 1/4 cup more of graham crackers for a firmer crust. Also, I melted the chocoloate chips in the microwave for 20 secs. They don't look completely melted but when you them out and stir them, they are melted and smooth. Will make these again!

BBQ Corn

We usually soak ours for about 2 hours. Then we take the husks off and wrap in foil with butter and lime! They take about 20 minutes. You'll smell the beer while they cook but you won't taste it. The beer obviously tenderizes the corn. This is the ONLY way we grill our corn now!

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

This recipe was very easy to prepare and tasted great, ESPECIALLY then next day after the flavors marinated! You could even make muffins instead of loaves.
