Delicious! The kids have said to make this again. I never knew making your own sauce could be so easy.

This is delicious! I used canned tomatoes. No need to go to an expensive restaurant to get great, fresh tomato basil soup anymore!

Asparagus-Zucchini Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
The vegetables were delicious. I ended up not mixing them into the rice and just eating them alone.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
I made it on Sunday and I'm still eating it. Still good! I added some frozen blackberries from last summer. I do think that you need to be aware of the type of bread you are using. I used 8 pieces of French Toast bread, and the bread was still swimming in the milk and egg. It took longer to cook than the recipe said. I would suggest having some extra bread on hand in case it is too soupy. However, it still tastes great even days afterwards. I will make this again.

Chocolate Earthquake Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
It took about 20 minutes longer for the cake to cook than the recipe says, but just like everyone says, the people at my party raved about this cake. I had no problem getting the cake out of the pan, but I did cut it up in squares first. Very good cake. I added coconut to the batter.

Cocktail Meatballs I

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I substituted cranberry sauce for the grape jelly, and used frozen meatballs. It was just okay. Half got eaten. Probably will not make this again.

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I loved this, though next time I will not marinate overnight. The tomatoes took on some of the balsamic vinegars color, and didn't looks as fresh. Not too many people at my party tried this. I thought it was delicious, though.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
I cut up chicken breasts into strips as I was using this recipe for a party. Very good. I used butter instead of olive oil, and cooked the strips for 20 minutes.

Best Green Bean Casserole

No kidding - this was my favorite thing on the table this Thanksgiving. Absolutely the best green bean casserole I've ever had. I am telling everyone now to put cheese in their green bean casserole. Delicious!

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2007
Just like my mom's and both grandmas - dripping with butter and a cake-like top. To me, this is a true cobbler. I add cinnamon, too. Thank you for the recipe!

This is a very good recipe. I changed to my regular oven meatloaf recipe and it still worked out fabulously. Wondeful for working parents!

English Trifle

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
I LOVE trifle! One of my top five favorite desserts (which is saying a lot!) I don't want to make traditional trifle, and this one works out fabulously in it's place. I made this for Thanksgiving last year and everyone raved. It's so pretty, and it's really easy for the little ones to help make, which makes it special as well. I used pineapple/orange juice to soak the pound cake - you could probably use any kind of juice. Thank you for this awesome recipe!

Pork Chops to Live For

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
This is great when you are tired of chicken or beef all the time. I do use the drippings from searing the meat to add to the milk mixture for the soups, giving it just a bit more of that yummy meat flavor. Even the kids like it, which you know makes it a keeper! Thank you!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
Delicious! I had a roast a tad bigger than 3 lbs, so I added about a 1/4 c. more water. It was perfect. I was afraid that it would be too bland since you didn't season the roast itself in any way beforehand, but it wasn't. It was great, very moist! Thank you!

Frijoles a la Charra

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
Delicious! I didn't use beer at all. I am making them again, and next time I will drain off more of the bacon - it was a bit greasy. But still great. Told they were the best beans they'd ever had.

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: May 21, 2006
I used Orange flavored cake mix and put in chocolate chips, pecans and coconut - wonderful! The recipie doesn't say how big to make the balls - the cookies don't spread all that much so it's just your preference.
