This is a really good black bean burger recipe! I almost completely followed the recipe as written, with just the tiniest of tweaks. I added a little more hot sauce because we like everything a little more spicy, and instead of adding more breadcrumbs like a couple of reviewers suggested, I added a half cup or so of cooked bulgar. The burgers held together really well when I cooked on a skillet w/ a little oil spray, and the bulgar up-ed the protein even more. Since the mixture contained raw egg, I made a tiny "test burger" in the pan before cooking off the whole batch to check the seasoning- definately add salt if you aren't on a sodium restricted diet!
