I am a recently single mother of 3 boys. Ages 15, 13 and 1 (yes I started over). I have been cooking since my mother got ill when I was 10. She taught me everything I needed to know to survive. I have since broadened my horizons and started thinking outside the "mother's window" of cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I am a chicken freak. I can do anything with a chicken and could eat it everyday. Though the baby is still not a huge fan yet, I also make a lot of pasta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
None, yet stying to start some to instill family into my boys' lives.
My cooking triumphs
I once pulled off an entire Thanksgiving dinner, alone, and everything was done at the same time and tasted amazing. I was sweating bullets the entire time, yet it made me confident that i could do anything.
My cooking tragedies
Wayyyyyy to many to mention. You can not cook with out having some kind of tragity. It makes you stronger and you learn from your mistakes.
