Garlic-Ginger Chicken Wings

Just made these for the first time. Didn't have any hot sauce, so omitted. Didn't have rice vinegar so used apple cider vinegar. Cooked at 350 instead of 400. Did find they sticked a bit, despite the fact I sprayed the pan a fair amount as suggested in other reviews. Will use parchment next time. This tends to be much messier, as the grease will go under where the tinfoil would better protect the pan. Solution: Cover pan in tinfoil, then place sheet of parchment on top. They turned out great! Crispy from the oven. Love it.

Baked Pork Chops I

I have made these 3 times now, and they are always fantastic. Changes made: baked for 30 minutes, then added soup mixture and baked for additional 30 minutes, for a total of one hour. I think the 1.5 hours the recipe suggested would be way to long. Used apple juice instead of wine. Other than that followed recipe exact.

Asian Beef Skewers

We made these for our recent camping trip. I added an extra clove of garlic as we love our garlic. I didn't have any sherry on hand, so used apple cider vinegar. To substitute the apple cider vinegar for sherry, use half the amount, and add the same part water, so 1.5 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, and 1.5 table spoons of water) I left it to marinade for 2 full days, and cooked over briquettes. Was absolutely amazing!!
