Oven Pancakes

Easy recipe, very easy preparation and excellent outcome. Was so tasty that we devoured the whole thing. We ate it with raspberries and strawberries on top and a bit of whipped cream. Paired it with eggs and hash browns. Will definitely be making this again, and again and again. I made the recipe as indicated with the exception of the butter... I reduced the butter to 1/4 cup, and could have done with a bit less.

Italian Green Beans

For the first time since I started using allrecipes, I am completely unimpressed by a recipe I chose... Partially because I didn't have a lot of time to find a recipe, so I didn't do the proper research. This recipe called for far too much butter, and I used a quality Italian dressing but still the flavor was horrible. The beans were practically burnt after 15 minutes. This recipe needed more liquid and less butter. I will not make it again. The only reason I give it two stars is that my husband actually did like it.

Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins

These were very good. My husband likes them more than I do. They were very easy to make, I followed the recipe as written. Next time I will probably use frozen wild blueberries as someone else suggested, I think they might turn out better.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

WOW, this recipe is amazing. Like previous reviewers, I made some modifications. I have tried this twice, once with the extra zucchini as suggested by previous reviewers, and once with the 2 cups as written. I preferred the 2 cups, and so did my 2 and 7 year old. I do not think it is necessary to add extra zucchini. Next time I will try adding carrots to, as suggested by another reviewer. I made three modifications to this recipe. First, I cut the sugar down to two cups, one cup of brown (packed) and one cup of white sugar. (It is still very sweet.) Second, instead of one cup vegetable oil, I used a half cup oil and a half cup applesauce. Third, I added the crumb topping after 15 minutes of baking. The topping is made from 1/2 c regular oats, 1/2 c brown sugar, 1/4 c flour, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 c. butter. I cooked the bread for one hour at 325 and let it sit only for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan. This bread is very moist and has a nice cinnamon-sweet flavor to it. It was an instant hit with the family. Half of one loaf was gone within 15 minutes. Hence, the second batch made right away. I am adding this bread to my list of ways to get the kids to eat some veggies!

Sweet Vidalia Onion Pie

This recipe is amazing. I was a little worried that there weren't enough eggs and that it would be dry, but it turned out perfect. Like other reviewers, I also added more cheese to the top. This was a big hit with my 2 year old, my 7 year old and my 31 year old husband. We had it as a side dish, but it would also make a great breakfast quiche.

Buttermilk Biscuits I

I thought these biscuits were fairly good. They definitely needed some more salt. Next time I make them, I will follow what previous reviewers said and brush them with salted butter instead of buttermilk. On the positive, these were very light and fluffy biscuits that were also very easy to make. I halved the recipe and had enough for my husband and I to eat them twice.

Pumpkin Bread

This pumpkin bread is not only delicious, but also very easy to make. I cut back on the nutmeg a bit and baked it in one regular size bread pan and two mini loaves. My husband says that this is the best bread I have ever made... we'll have it again!

Green Bean Casserole I

This recipe was great for its simplicity and good for its taste. I made it for our Christmas Eve dinner this year and paired it with beef brisket and mashed potatoes. I had to cook it at 300 because of the beef brisket, but it was still yummy! I used the Healthy Choice cream of mushroom because it has no msg and low sodium - next time I will put more salt in the mixture before I begin baking. Everyone enjoyed it and we had no leftovers - I will definitely make it again.

Cinnamon Rolls III

This recipe is amazing. I made these cinnamon rolls for our Christmas morning brunch. They were an instant hit! I loved how easy they were to make - I just threw all of the ingredients in the bread machine and then the family sat down to open presents. When we were almost done I went in the kitchen to prepare them and within an hour (had to wait for them to rise) we were eating delicious rolls. My family concurs that this recipe actually tops Cinnabon! I used the Cinnabon Makara cinnamon, which always adds an excellent flavor - and my batch actually yielded 18 scrumptious rolls. This is definitely going to join my recipe treasury.
