J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
I have never attempted to make biscuits before, I made these tonight and they turned out wonderful! They rose beautifully and tasted so good! Highly recommend this recipe - it was so easy!

Chocolate Pinwheel Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
These were an absolute disaster! The different doughs ran together and mixed. The cookies, once I finally got them sliced, baked up crispy. They didn't have much taste to them either. They might be better if you had time to play around with the recipe some, and find the right technique for slicing those things. Maybe it was just me...

Spicy Scones

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
I made these for a Mother/Daughter tea party. They went over fairly well. Perhaps I'm just not much of a scone person, but they tasted a little bland or dry. Overall they were okay, but not my favorite.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
I liked the original recipe, but have changed it quite a bit with every time I make it. Every time I make it, my family comes up with something they would like more of or less of in it. They must still like it pretty well--I've made it several times, and have never had to throw any out.

Sausage Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
These tasted great! Perfect for holidays when no one in my family wants to sit down and eat a big breakfast. I did play around with the recipe some. I left out the mustard, and adjusted it to suit my family's taste preferences. Thanks!

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2004
This recipe was great. The bread was a little soggy the first time, but that was easy to fix next time I made it by toasting it. I'm not too crazy about mayonnaise, so I all but left it out. Some people may have liked it in their meatballs, I'm just not one of those people. Personally, I like a little more kick to mine, so I added more pepper and garlic. I've made it several times and will in the future.
