Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
So quick and easy. Also easy to modify to your own tastes. I like less corn and milder tomatoes. (Mexican style stewed tomatoes are what I usually use.) And I also cut back a little bit on the broth and add some cream of chicken soup to make it creamier. Do rinse the black beans as others have suggested. And serve with tortilla strips and cheese!

Pork Chops in Beer

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2006
My family - especially my husband - just loves these pork chops. I season them with pepper and a little garlic powder, and add a little liquid smoke flavoring to the sauce. So easy and so good!

Primavera Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2002
This dish turned out great! I love its versatility. Any kind of pasta... whatever veggies you have on hand... I'm also going to try different dressings instead of the Ranch, like Creamy Italian.

Greek Style Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2001
We really liked these potatoes as a change from noodles with chicken parmesan. My husband doesn't normally care for potatoes, but he liked these.

Barbecued Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2001
I used frozen shrimp and cut it way down to feed just my family. Everybody who has tried it has really liked it. Definitely goes great with Italian bread!

Bachelor's Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2001
This makes a nice, thick stew. It was a little bit too tomato-soupy for me, so I think next time I will replace one can of the tomato soup with more beef broth. Still it was delicious, and fairly easy to throw together. (Be sure to make some potatoes, rice, or noodles to serve with it.)

Beer Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2001
This bread is really easy to make and is very good when fresh and hot. Slice it thick. I also like it toasted with butter.
