I was born in Tallahassee, FL. I grew up in the south and learned to cook southern food. I later learned how to bake and cook different kinds of food. I like communication technology, mechainical engineering, camping and learning new things.I am currently attending college to obtain my BS in Business with accounting concentration.
My favorite things to cook
I learned to cook at an early age watching Julia Childs and from people around me. I collectively found a style of cooking that everyone can relate to, Comfort Food. I like cooking different kinds of cuisine and I will try most anything however my favorite is Italian and Southern Comfort. I have the best time when I cook for friends and family.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Most anything but mostly Southern Comfort and Italian but I also love to bake.
My cooking triumphs
I have a lot of main dishes that I go to when entertaining but I'm known for my gravies. I am concidered the gravy queen,LOL. Tomato gravy, beef gravy, chicken gravy, and good ole redeye gravy, these are a tradition here in the south and is great on anything from mashed potatos to biscuts to rice. It is the best flavor enhancer to any dish. I also do homemade chicken and dumplings that everyone ask for on a routien basis.
My cooking tragedies
I scorched beans one time and it smelled up the kitchen pretty bad.
