A Very Popular BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2015
My husband and I argue all the time over which bbq sauce to buy because we have different taste. This recipe nailed it for both of us and was so fast and easy. Whipped it up while the chicken was on the grill and it was delicious. Finally found the one and it was in my kitchen the whole time, go figure.

Eggplant and Goat Cheese Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2015
I always make a recipe as written the first time I make it. This was not very good. I should have salted the eggplant to draw out the water before I put it together. It was watery and even after an hour an a half it still wasn't done in the middle. There are many was to make it to my liking but I might as well right my own recipe.

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2015
I buy my meat at costco and their ground beef is only 12% fat so it's very hard to get a moist meatloaf even when I add fat. So I followed this recipe exactly except I added a pound of italian sausage. This came out fabulous. It was so moist. I will never cook a meatloaf in the oven again.

moist and tasty. It doesn't even need the frosting. A little whipped topping will do. great for hot summer evenings.

this was so easy and delicious. I keep a bag of homemade meatballs in the freezer for a quick dinner like sandwiches or pasta but wanted something different. This fit the bill perfectly. The sauce and meatballs were done before the nooodles. thanks for sharing.

Aunt Norma's Rhubarb Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2014
i love rhubarb but not a fan of muffins until my daughter made these. they were in the new issue of all recipes magazine and with all the fresh rhubarb out we decided to try them. they are the best muffin I have ever had. the only change we made was to sub the vanilla with almond extract. we love almond extract with fruit(try in cherry pie, to die for}. these are a must try.

Canned Spiced Pickled Beets

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2014
i'm not a beet lover but my husband is so when we came into a couple of bundles of beets i thought i'd surprise him and try to pickle him some. well all i can say is wow. these are so good that i had to sit down and write my review right away. i scaled the recipe down to 9 servings and was alittle short on vinegar but with some minor adjustments they came out perfect. i didn't try the beets themselves but the juice was awesome. i got 3 pint jars and my husband is already trying to hide them so no one else can have any. this is definately a keeper and i will be doing them again.

Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 10, 2013
this is so easy and flavorful. my husband use to cringe when i made pork loin roast until i made this. i let it marinade for 24 hours and it came out delicious. the meat was tender and the flavor is off the hook. now my husband ask "are you marinading it?" when i say we are having pork roast. the leftovers are great in stirfry too because the flavors are already in the meat.
