This was very good! I used medium salsa, and followed the recipe exactly. It was just as good the next day when I warmed it up for lunch.

Marinade for Steak I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2005
This is the best marinade I have ever had! I was looking for a good marinade recipe for grilling steaks and this one looked good because of all it's rave reviews. I let the meat sit in this marinade in a large ziploc bag overnight, then grilled it up the next day. My family was blown away! It is great, and the meat is so flavorfull!! This is definitely a keeper.

Easiest Egg Nog

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2005
I made this for my husband and son who LOVE egg nog at Christmas time. They did not seem to like this egg nog as much as the one you can buy at the store. But they did ask me to make more the next day.

BBQ Potato Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2005
Very good, very easy and basic. I cut the potatoes into wedges and boiled them. Then put them in a ziploc bag with olive oil, salt and pepper, lawry's seasoning salt, and garlic powder...and shook it up. Then I put them on the grill until they had darkened a little and gotten crispy. They were delicious!! Those of you that said they weren't flavorful enough....they are potatoes! You have to add the flavor!! Very very good! I was excited to find a potato recipe I could use on the grill.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2005
This is a delicious cookie recipe!! And I loved that I didn't have to spoon out cookie dough on several different cookie sheets. You just plop all the cookie dough into one large pan and put it in the oven! It was so easy and so yummy!!

Very very good! It had a lot of flavor and was moist, not too dry. I would definitely recommend this recipe!

Homemade Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2004
Very good lasagna recipe! The sauce was so good, I was eating it right out of the pot it was simmering in! I used all ground beef. The lasagna turned out great and very tasty. I liked it even better the next day, warmed up. I've been eating it for a few days now and haven't gotten sick of it. Yummy!

Tortillas I

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2003
I have never made tortillas before, but my husband requested that we try. We made them together (he never helps me cook!) and we had so much fun making them. They were delicious! We both raved about them! I doubled the shortening and doubled the salt. Roll them out as thin as you can, and they are perfect! Also, don't cook them too long or they are too hard. Mine only needed to cook about 30 seconds. They are cheaper and better than store-bought tortillas. We loved them!

Janet's Famous Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2003
I love banana-nut bread! This one was pretty good, but a little sweeter than I'm used to. It needed much longer to cook than the recipe states. I cooked mine for 80 minutes, and should have cooked it about 5 or 10 minutes longer...there was a gooey spot on the top. Overall I liked it, and my 6-year-old boy LOVED it!!!

Busy Night Turkey Taco Soup with Avocado Cream

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2003
I made this soup last night, and I looooved it! It was so good! I used medium salsa, to spice it up a little, and it was perfect! Very, very good! I would make this even if I didn't have leftover turkey. My husband liked it, but asked me to make it with chicken next time and make it spicier. I would definitely recommend this soup...and it was so easy and quick to make!!

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2003
This is a delicious meatloaf! I added: extra onions, 1/2 green pepper chopped, 2 cloves of garlic chopped, salt and pepper, and an extra egg. I used bread crumbs instead of bread. I doubled the sauce. Yumm!
