Roast Beef Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
This was really good. I substituted the water with beef broth and added frozen veggies. I did not have any diced tomatoes on hand so I added a can of stewed tomatoes. I also added some small pasta. Great way to use up left over roast beef.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
This was really good. Like previous reviewers I add frozen chicken breast to the crock pot. My husband thought there was too much broth. I enjoyed it.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
My husband was craving oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and I didn't have any eggs so I decided to make these. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised how good these are. For personal taste preference I omitted the raisins and I added coconut. I modified what the other reviewer suggested and after I scooped the dough on the cookie sheet I rolled in into a ball and flatten with the dough with a fork and I dipped the fork in water after I flattened each cookie.

Very good. I added 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. I also didn't have any buttermilk so I used fat free milk. Delicious.

Light, Crisp Waffles

Reviewed: May 7, 2006
These were very good. I only added 1/4 teaspoon of salt. If you use a belgian waffle maker the recipe it will only make 2 1/2 waffles. Next time I make them I might add a little more sugar because I like my waffles sweeter.

Beefy Vegetable Soup

I changed the recipe and added 6 cups of beef broth. I also omited the vegtables and I added frozen vegtable mix, can of diced potatoes, and chopped up onion. I used no yolk egg noodles. I also added 4 tablespoons of tabasco sauce. I sprinkled parmeson cheese on the top. Very yummy.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2005
Good muffins. I used 2 teaspoons of vanilla like other users. I would recommened not filling the muffins to the top because they rise to make one big muffin.
