Banana Cream Pie I

I made this pie this morning and it's so easy and tastes absolutely wonderful.I made it right by the recipe except I did add 2 tsp of starch in addition to the flour,I wanted to be sure my pie set up and I did not bake it either.Just to help it set up faster I put pudding in bowl with plastic wrap for about an hour before I assembled the pie.I was weary this would not be good and I was so wrong.I cut it tonight for dessert and it's beautiful and good,I topped with sweetened whipping cream as I plated the pie,so go ahead and make this pie!It's spot on!Thanks for the great recipe.Happy girl in Ga.

Sourdough Bread III

I've made this bread three times in the last 2 days...awesome.So easy to come together,I used all purpose flour and after the punch down and shape I baked it in 2 loaf pans 8x4 baked 350*in preheated oven for 30 minutes.Came out perfect,it rose up way over the top of pan before I baked,the texture was so good,and great flavor.This will be my recipe from now on,I buttered the top right out of the oven because I like it soft.Thanks Warren for a great recipe.Happy Georgia girl here.

Amish White Bread

I'm always trying different white bread recipes,trying to find the best one.OMG this is it!!I made this last night,went right by the recipe only made half in case I didn't like it,that was a mistake.this is awesome bread,soft ,light & airy the holes looked just like store bought.I made toast with it this morning and I can't say enough how good the taste is.This recipe is spot on,don't change 1 thing.Thank you Peg for such a great recipe.I won't be looking any further.Thanks from your Georgia girl.This should def have ten stars and it's so easy!!

Sourdough Bread I

I've been making this bread for almost a year now and it's truly the easiest and best tasting I've made.I use my own starter almost a year old an usually half this recipe because we like the bread fresh..Everyone that's tried it loves it ,it makes a big loaf .I usually stir mine together at night and leave to rise till the next morning.In the morning I knead it and place in 4 x 8 greased pan and let it rise again.This rising usually only takes about2 hours and it's over the top of the pan.Love this bread thanks for such a good recipe.Mine usually bakes for 35 min.when I cool it I slather on butter for a soft crust.Thanks Becky!
