Chocolate Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
Really really good and really really easy!! Great craving dessert since you have everything on hand already. A little rich, but I'm not complaining!! We'll be making this again! Edit: By the way, for those who are complaining that this isn't a molten chocolate cake perhaps that's because it ISN"T a molten chocolate cake. It's supposed to be gooey and mushy. It's a cobbler. The top crisps and the rest stays pretty soft. Look up Molten Chocolate Cake if thats actually what you want.

Fluffy Pancakes

Really nice pancakes. The only thing I changed was using butter instead of shortening and that gave it a really nice flavor. Will be using again and again! Cheaper than store-ready mix!

Fabulous recipe, not too sweet, but I did add just a tad more cocoa cause I like the extra chocolate!

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
Really good recipe! I used PB Loco peanut butter in raspberry and dark chocolate peanut. I don't know that you can really taste the raspberry but they're still really good! I didn't have any problems at all with my dough being too thin. Perhaps those with the problems aren't fully creaming the butters and sugars? It needs to get fluffy or else you don't have the air in the dough to help stabilize it. I also rolled them in sugar and did the typical criss-cross pattern. Great recipe will be using again!

Melt In Your Mouth Toffee

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
This recipe is FABULOUS! So easy to make, I just let it boil then walked away and checked on it periodically. I did use almonds instead of walnuts and only 12 oz of chocolate chips which still seemed more than enough. I took the toffee to work with me and got rave reviews! Everyone wanted the recipe! I'm DEFINITELY using this for holiday gifts!

Quick Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
This was really great! I did cook mine in the oven instead of the microwave (I don't like microwaved meat) and even my ultra picky boyfriend liked it! I also used crushed croutons instead of the breadcrumbs for more flavor. Great recipe!

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
I gave this 4 stars just because I think the amount of cornstarch is way more than is necessary and there needs to be more cocoa. I tweaked my pudding using flour instead of cornstarch (substitution is 1 tbsp cornstarch equals 2 tbsp flour)and 1/4 cup cornstarch is 4 tbsp so you would -according to this recipe- need 8 tbsp flour or 1/2 cup. I only used about 5 tbsp and the consistency was PERFECT once it chilled. I also added about 4 tbsp cocoa give or take (I didn't measure accurately) as well as a hint of cinnamon. I was wanting cinnamon chocolate :). Cook it till it looks like a really thick soup and chill before eating. I personally do NOT like warm puddings unless its bread pudding. Very quick and easy pudding with just things you have on hand! Good eats!

Sunshine Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
The recipe itself is all right. I cut the sugar down considerally, to about 1 tsp and increased the salt to 3/4 tsp. To me, with the original measurements it seemed the biscuit would be more of a sweet breakfast biscuit and I was looking for a new biscuits-n-gravy staple :). Cornmeal gives it a nice touch. Also, the dough was too sticky so I kneaded in more flour. My boyfriend insists there needs to be more cornmeal, less flour. Good basic recipe though!

Snickerdoodles I

Great recipe. I like many users added vanilla ( i never measure it, just a splash) and used half brown sugar, half white. Came out super moist and wonderful!

Pumpkin Cheesecake in a Gingersnap Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2006
Great holiday favorite! Not overly sweet, so if you're looking for a sugary dessert, look for something else. Very savory. Will make again!
