Butter Pecan Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2008
YUMM! As another reviewer suggested, I baked these at 300 degrees for one hour and allowed them to cool in the turned off oven. I also added 3/4 cup chocolate chips and 3/4 cup butterscotch chips. Next time, I think I'll add some coconut. This is definitely a keeper recipe. My family loved them!!

Country Club Prime Rib

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2006
We love this recipe. I do not use any liquid. Simply dry roast on a rack inside the roaster. I rub the salt crust on the roast using a large sheet of wax paper underneath to catch extra and to make easy cleanup. Also, I like to let the salt covering set up for at least an hour before cooking. We really enjoy this recipe.

Braised Collard Greens

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
Wonderful way to cook greens of all types. I use 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar along with the red wine vinegar. I allow the pot liquor to cook at least 3 hours prior to adding greens. Also the left over liquid can be frozen for use later. I remove the meat and other large solids prior to freezing. Makes a great meal!

My kids love these without the sauce for dinner! I love them too. I've also made these with chicken legs. Very crispy and tasty.

Peach Cobbler V

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2004
Taking hints from others, I 1 1/2 cups flour and 2 TABLESPOONS baking powder. I added 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and nutmeg. I also used canned peaches. I added a little of the peach juice to the batter. If you don't want it so sweet, cut back on the brown sugar. My family loved it and will definitely make again. They even wanted it for breakfast!!
