Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2009
Easy and fast. Only my child who wants to live off hotdogs complained. And I'm pretty sure it was because of the lemon. Everyone else loved it. Will make again.

April's Chicken Fried Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
A good basic recipe. Double the add-ins. Used cold rice and a rotisserie chicken for ease.

Easy Spicy Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
Great! I actually boiled these for 10 min. then drained them and mixed them with the seasonings. That way I only had to bake them for 10 min. with a couple minutes of being broiled at the end. I left my onions pretty chunky and served these with 'Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers'. We could eat this meal again tonight!

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
So good. And I used chicken that I boiled the day before, but it was still so flavorful. My husband says "Why go to the Bombay house when you can do this?" Serve with naan and jasmine rice and your good to go!

Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Delight

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
Easy, yummy. Remind anyone else of junior high? Good tip: use those raw tortillas from Tortilla Land, you get them at Costco. I've also seen some at Walmart. After cooking one side, flip it and spread on the butter, cinn/sugar. It just melts in as the other side cooks -world of difference!

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
The taste was good. I don't know what I did wrong though, it never hardened up. It was more like taffy. I had to put it in the freezer to set it and be able to break it. Even after that the texture wasn't what it should be.

Sugar Cookie Glaze

You need to put a lot on to get a smooth coat, but I don't really like the taste.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
Pretty easy to make, and the dusting with powdered sugar at the end does help with the greasiness. It was hard for me to get it onto the cake without ripping, after rolling it out- good thing it was a small cake. Taste wise- better than commercial but I wouldn't call it good. I like it for looks.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
I left the skins on half the potatoes. I also used minced garlic from a jar in the fridge. So. Good.

Apple-Berry Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
Definitely better than an all blackberry pie, since it's less seedy. My family gave it 5 stars and my son doesn't even like pie!

Blackberry Fool

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
Good, sweet and simple whipped cream. Not too sweet though, so the flavor of fresh berries is not overpowered.

Blackberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2008
It was good, but the dough wasn't the best. The amount of dough it makes is also smaller than what I expected.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2008
Yes, I agree. This was actually delicious! I did add some worcestershire sauce and Johnny's Seasoning Salt and my family enjoyed them. My husband said it tasted like sausage and was happy to get great flavor and less artery clogging.
