Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
I really enjoyed this recipe. A few less diced tomatoes wouldn't hurt. I couldn't find frozen bread dough so I used Fleischmann's bread mix which worked just fine. Will definitely make this again!

Marinated Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
Pure and simple, this recipe rocks! The grilled pork chops taste like grilled steak. Ignore the ideas from reviewers that made substitutions or changed the quantities. Leave the recipe exactly like it is. Delicious!!!

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
Overall, a very good recipe. I agree with using a larger jar of sauce - a small jar just isn't enough. I added some chopped garlic since our family loves garlic. The 9"x13" dish almost isn't large enough...I used a 10"x15" instead. Also, I substituted a 5-cheese Italian blend for the mozzarella.

Grilled Chicken with Rosemary and Bacon

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2011
Cooked as recommended - chicken was somewhat bland and was extremely dry. Not impressed by this recipe at all. I doubt I'll ever make this again.

London Broil II

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
Excellent marinade! You need to be careful when cooking a London Broil but this recipe really works well. The longer you marinate, the better. And the hotter the grill, the better. I love medium-rare so 5-6 minutes on each side was perfect. Will definitely make this again!

Great recipe! The only change I made was doubling the pecans. You can never have too many pecans!

Roasted Herb Chicken and Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
The sauce is fantastic. I used 4 lbs of bone-in breasts instead of a whole chicken and added some baby carrots and a little red Cabernet for some extra sauce. I'll definitely do this one again.

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

All I can say is.....WOW! This is some seriously good stuff. I'm going to make a much larger batch next time. And don't strain it - there's no need to. Excellent recipe!!!

Egg Salad I

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Way too much red onion (and we like onions in our house). Half of the recommended amount would be plenty. Too much dill as well. This recipe is average at best. I doubt I'll make it again.

Quick and Easy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
This recipe rocks! I've made this dish about 10 times and we have it every week or two. I prefer to use 2 lbs. of boneless chicken thighs rather than breasts (thighs come out much juicier). The sauce is unbelievable - it's almost like a homemade sweet and spicy barbecue sauce. I ALWAYS double the sauce. You need to try this recipe!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

This is a fairly good recipe for meatloaf but nothing special - I've made several meatloaves that were better. I don't really understand all the rave reviews of this one. It was average.

Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
Not a good recipe at all. First of all, 1 hour @ 350 in the oven is not enough - the potatoes came out hard as a rock. We didn't care for the flavor of the ingredients either....tasted more like a dessert than a side dish. Very disappointed in this recipe. Will not make again.

Fresh Tomato Shrimp Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2009
Excellent but here's what I changed: I used penne rather than fettuccine....used 1 large can of diced tomatoes (better than fresh)...added some crushed red pepper flakes...cut the pasta back to 6 ounces...and used 6-cheese Italian blend.
