Easy Raspberry Lemonade

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2013
Like the other reviewers have said, make triple, quad or even quintuple the recipe! I made this two days in a row for various family get-togethers. First time I made double the recipe and we ran out within the hour (15 people); the next day I made 4x the recipe and it lasted about 3 hours (12 people). It's a great, easy recipe. I used strawberries and lemons (sliced) for presentation and Sprite for the fizz. I will make it again, no doubt.

Banana Flips

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
Delicious. My husband and children loved it! Like others, I added 2 very ripe, mashed bananas to the cake and used confectioner's sugar instead of granulated for the frosting. I made this as a cake, using 2- 8" round pans (increased baking time to about 22 minutes). I will definitely keep this recipe to use in the future. Thank you!

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2012
We can never go back to store bought tortillas! Also, if we roll it a bit thicker, it is a delicious substitute for Indian naan bread (topped with butter and garlic). Delicious!

Cucumber-Cilantro Raita (Yogurt)

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2012
Delicious! My husband especially loves this. I don't think he will ever eat curry again without it! I love that it uses some fresh herbs (I added cilantro and a bit of dill). In one preparation I omitted the pepper (for my kids sake) and it was still delicious. I think half a teaspoon of salt per 2 cups of yogurt is plenty. Thank you for such an easy recipe!

BREAKSTONE'S Fruit-Filled Coffee Cake

Delicious, quick and easy! I omitted the nuts (my family is allergic- poor me!) and it was still wonderful. I will keep this recipe as a sure thing!

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Reviewed: May 15, 2011
My family loved this recipe. I used all fresh veggies and herbs from my garden. Light, beautiful flavor. The bread can get pretty soggy with leftovers but no one seemed to mind- and the leftovers were gone within two days! I will make again.

Excellent! I hadn't used fresh cranberries before but now that I know how easy it is (and delicious!) I will use them whenever available. Thank you for such a good recipe- highly recommended.

Apple Streusel Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
Very good. I used it with my own spiced applesauce (instead of the canned pie) and it was a hit. Next time I will cut down on the spices (just because of the already spiced sauce) but a good staple recipe.

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
Fantastic glaze and cooking method. I prepared with variety of veggies (broccoli, green pepper, carrots) and the family loved it. Even my one year old son couldn't get enough of the "sweet steak"! Next time, I will add some red pepper flakes for the hubby and me. Thank you- this is now a staple recipe in our home.

Chicken and Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
Great taste and easy prep. I made a few modifications. I didn't use the mayo instead I added milk. Also, I used the reduced fat cream of mushroom soup and it tasted great! We will definitely have this meal 2-3 times a month :)

Donna's Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
Very, very tasty! I made a few modifications and it worked out great. I used regular uncooked lasagna noodles (a lot less work and tastes the same to me!), also I "cheated" and used a large jar of store bought spaghetti sauce, and I used ricotta cheese instead of cottage cheese. So good with the ground beef and italian sausage, my husband is still raving about it!

Baked Sesame Chicken

Very good. My husband loved it and wants me to make it again and again. I wasn't so enthusiastic about it, lol. I like chicken to have a sauce with it but it is quite good.
