This was a very easy recipe to follow especially for a novice cook. It turned out great. I skipped the wine because I did not have any. I was also 2 oz short on broth and used 1.5 lbs of beef. I added a a little extra sour cream....amazing. If I do it again, I am going to cut back on the butter to make it a bit healthier. I am also going to try it with organic filet or sirloin. I did not stir it the whole time it was simmering so it separated and I had to try to get the sauce together again. I simmered it until the meat was cooked, not the full hour. In the recipie. Leftovers were great!!!
