Beef Wellington

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2013
If you aren't a pâté fan, you can substitute with humus. Also, I've used a mixture of cooked carrots, onions, and garlic that I'd strained and mashed instead of pâté.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
This chowder is awesome. i ommitted the carrots and made up for them with and extra cup of potatoes. my mother didn't like the red wine vinegar so the last few times i've made this recipe I've added a splash of white wine in the pan I started the potatoes in and I add 1/2 a cup of chedder cheese 5 minutes before serving. Also DON'T ADD SALT the clams and thier juice add salt naturally, and salt is one of those things you leave for a picky guest to dicide on AFTER you put the bowl in front of them.

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
5 for taste but the cake soesn't turn out well. i follwed the directions exactly and was dissapointed when the cake had a giant sinkhole in the middle. Due to the order of the directions, the cake is likely to come out looking like a sinkhole. If you’re going to make this cake: mix all the wet ingredients in a medium bowl. Then mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Make a ‘well’ in the center of the big bowl (a hole that allows the wet ingredients to touch as much surface area as possible) and pour the wet ingredients into the well. Mix in with a spoon. Fold in carrots and nuts if you want any. Lumps in the batter are a good thing as long as they are peas sized or smaller. Treat this cake like a quick bread and don’t use an electric beater. This should stop the sinkhole effect. Good luck.
