Absolute Best Liver and Onions
Oh so good!! We already like liver but this was especially yummy! It was very flavorful and tender. I followed the recipe as written exceptI only soaked it in milk for 30 minutes. I fried some bacon slices first and set aside to break over the top later. I sauteed a couple fresh mushrooms with the onions. The liver, the sauteed onions and mushrooms, and the bacon pieces all piled on a serving platter made for a yummy meal with mashed potatoes, and ketchup on the side for dipping. I followed the suggestion to mix leftover flour with water in the frying pan to take advantage of all the flavorful pan drippings and this made a good gravy for the potatoes. I plan to repeat this method again!

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
These are SO yummy - they have become a new favorite in our house!! I like them with white chips but have experimented with butterscotch and chocolate chips also...or combos of white, butterscotch or chocolate - they are all good. I do cut both sugars to 3/4 cups. I adjusted the flour and oatmeal proportions to 2.5 cups flour and 2 cups oatmeal. I find 1 1/4 cups of chips is plenty. I also like adding 1/2 tea. almond flavoring. I only bake these for 10 minutes... ummm ummm amazing!

Rhubarb Gelatin Salad
Yummy and refreshing!! - I found this recipe here several years ago and make this salad every spring, at least once if not more! I have used both strawberry and raspberry jello with equally good results. I make it exactly as written - I chop the apple in my food processor so the chunks are fairly small. Great standby recipe for me!
