this was pretty simple to make and it tastes better than campbell soup. :) i used 1.5 tbsp of butter and enough whole milk to equal one cup to sub half and half. found that the all purpose flour didnt really work well to thicken the mixture so i added corn flour instead after cooking everything. (1.5 tbsp mixed with a little water) i added coarse black pepper and it turned out pretty flavourful. cinnamon adds a refreshing taste.

soft just the way i like it. when using salted butter, be sure to omit the teaspoon of salt.

after a long break from a failed attempt at baking cheesecake... this recipe was a delightful success! friends loved it. followed the recipe exactly and it turned out soft and creamy, just the right texture. didnt do a water bath though and it cracked. i'll try putting an ice in the oven next time. definitely a recipe for keeps. simple and good. =)

chocolatey and moist, but abit too soft.

i was rather disappointed cos i expected more after reading the reviews.cripsy on the outside soft on the inside but i found it abit too soft and too buttery/greasy for my personal liking.may make them again though for my mother loves them as they arent dry, but i'll probably use less butter next time.i scooped teaspoonfuls of the batter because it flattens out a lot and keeping it in the refrigerator does help to control the shape of the cookies.was uncertain about when to remove them from the oven as they seemed to be soft forever but it does harden after some cooling on the wire racks.took more than ten minutes to bake though.have a cant-stop eating quality so not the best but worth a try!

first time i attempted baking. i followed the recipe exactly except adding an extra tbsp of coffee (still couldnt taste it). the muffins turned out GREAT! my dad found it abit sweet but it was ok for the women at home. i guess women tend to have a sweet tooth. =)
