About this Cook
Im a mother, wife, tattoo artist, painter, volunteer, avid cook and own a printing business with my hubby. So i keep pretty busy. The one thing i make time for every day is to cook my boys a fantastic dinner, its very important to me to sit down with my family and catch up on our day. We laugh a lot and discuss everything at the dinner table and it brings me great joy to see my family enjoy the meal I have prepared for them.
My favorite things to cook
I am a very eclectic cook! I cannot say i have a favorite thing to cook. I prepare Puerto Rican, Italian, Asian, Indian, and of course American dishes. My personal favorite dish to eat however is simply sheppherds pie. Its all my favorite comfort foods in one dish.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our family is carving its own path. We dont embrace any traditions. We move forward by what we feel like doing at the moment. I do not cook turkey on Thanksgiving, we do not cook big Holiday meals. To me, those days are for relaxing and enjoying family. Im not stressing myself out in the kitchen trying to impress folks i do not have to. They love all my cooking! We have been doing it this way for years and we have had the best holiday time off, since.
My cooking triumphs
Hmmm. I also love baking goodies, cakes and bread. My triumph was a three layer fondant covered fire truck cake i made for my nephews birthday. I made everything from scratch including the marshmallow fondant. It was beautiful and tasty
My cooking tragedies
Ok. The broiler incident in home ec. Class in 10th grade. The fish was on fire! So i just dont use the broiler option, and ive never had another issue.

Sweet Dinner Rolls
Great recipe! Prepared as directed. Came out perfect and delicous. I noted in a few reviews that one packet of yeast equals one and a half teaspons of yeast. One packet of yeast equals 2 1/4 teaspoons. Its right on the jar of yeast. Thanks for the superb recipe.
