Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
Perfect! So much flavor. My family loved it. Had extra people for dinner so I added chicken broth and some instant potatoes just to make more soup but it still came out great. Good with bacon bits or cheese sprinkled on top before serving. Its a winner!

Fish Tacos Ultimo

Reviewed: May 26, 2012
GREAT! I knew these were a hit when my son who HATES fish asked me to make them again. He even liked the fish with the seasoning on it all by itself.

Grandma's Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Instead of bacon I use ham or polish sausage. I also added some diced green and red pepper and added a teaspoon of Tabasco for a little extra kick. One of my family's favorites.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
Best banana bread ever. I added 1 cup of chocolate chips and about 1/4 cup of maraschino cherries that I quartered. I also used pecans instead of walnuts. I didn't use as much sugar ... only 2 cups and would probably try it next time with half the butter and some applesauce (one of the other reviews did it that way) to cut back on the fat and calories.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
I made this for a BBQ and had absolutely no leftovers. Everyone loved it. I did add more vinegar and less sugar. And I used celery seasoning instead of poppy seeds.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Really good carmel corn. I added 4 T of molasses for color and it tastes more like cracker jacks.

Special Butterscotch Chip Cookies in a Jar

Just like my grandpa used to make. Excellent! I have even made these with chocolate chips and they are good but I like butterscotch the best.

Chicken Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
Great just the way it is. I did add about 1 tsp of Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning and a tsp of minced garlic. I didn't run all the veggies through the food processor only about half that way it was thicker and chunky. Good soup!

Creamy Coconut Cake

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
I made this as a layer cake for my mom's birthday. I made it two days early and let it set in the fridge without the frosting then frosted it on her birthday. I was worried I would have too much cake but there were no leftovers. My family loved it and has requested for our next two family get togethers.

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2008
Made this for my parents' 50th Anniversary party. I used cranberry jello instead of strawberry. Absolutely the best punch ever. Made it several days before so that it had time to freeze which made getting ready for the party less hectic.

Mushroom, Leek, Chicken Sausage and Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
I have never made this soup the same twice. I always seem to be missing one ingredient, but it always comes out fantastic. One time I didn't have tortellini and used spiral pasta instead and another time I didn't have sausage and used chicken. Still turned out great!
