Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2004
Very good recipe although I made a few changes because of the high fat and sodium content. These are my substitutions/ changes: I used light mayo, turkey bacon, only 1 cup reduced fat cheese, and only 1 tsp season salt. My husband and I enjoyed it!

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2004
Pretty tasty with a little tweaking. I added some seasonings and like other reviewers suggested, I added another can of soup (cheddar cheese soup). I also added another slice of bread.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2004
My family and I thought that cookie was pretty bland. I added some cinnamon and nutmeg; they are essentials for oatmeal cookies. Also substituted chocolate chips for butterscoth chip and added raisins. After that, cookie was perfect!

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
Delicious. I used thawed frozen broccoli instead of fresh. I used 1/8 tsp of garlic powder instead of crushed garlic and I omitted the almonds. Everyone loved it including myself

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
Very tasty and quick chicken recipe. I usually cook my chicken in crock pot first so that it will be juicy and tender. Goes very well with spanish rice.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
This is an excellent recipe although I do a little "tweaking". First, I add a little (not too much because it's pretty salty)dry ranch dressing to the cracker mixture for extra flavor.I also reduce butter to 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup is way too much butter. Also, about halfway through cooking, I flip the chicken over so that I get butter on both sides.

Orange Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
My husband loves this cake. It is very moist, sweet and delicious (not for dieters). It is a good idea to poke many holes in cake to absorb orange juice, butter and sugar mixture.

Seven-Up® Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2004
Cake was pretty good. It was a little greasy and didn't have a strong 7-up flavor. But overall, it had a pretty good taste.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2004
These cookies are the best. Very soft and delicious. I have used many different flavors of pudding with different kinds of chips (chocolate, peanut butter and butterscoth).
